Wild Life Refuge represents decades of honing a vision for creative and nurturing community.

Our pool of collaborators, advisors and supporters includes visual artists, yoga teachers, therapists, dancers, musicians, bodyworkers, herbalists, writers, event organizers, engineers, and designers. We’ve come together to expand our already vibrant local networks in and around Madison, Wisconsin. This space provides an opportunity to nurture new connections in a tranquil, rural setting.

As owner and curator, I acquired the property on Ableman Road in 2025. A lifelong multimedia artist with a Ph.D. in Sociology and a passion for creative pursuits that bring people together, I’ve dreamt of combining my wide-ranging interests in a way that truly promotes joy and nourishes the soul.
